Hi everyone! 

Finally we’re able to share some news with you! We were quite busy with lots of IRL and game stuff, didn’t even have time to post anything.

First things first, we hope you’re have great time since we”re dying here due to the hot weather. We wish it was winter just like in the preview…

So, we’re still in making Project Genome as smooth and as vivid as possible. Right now our main focus is convenient interface and fluid 🔞 animations. We’ve worked so much on other things that almost forgot about that cherry on top. Due to complexity of our interactive scene we had to develop a simple but useful tool that allows us to create branches of choices to track how this scene is viewed from any point of progression through it and through the story. And also it’ll help you to see what you’re doing to get a certain outcome.

Meaningful interactions with the world and characters is what’s going to make Project Genome a unique game. Even though that’s an updating story based game, not only you’re just going to get interactive events but also you’ll be able to choose how to progress through the story and see all the possible outcomes and how they affect characters and the world itself.

We’re still optimizing and rebuilding our work and trying to implement sound and music into the game in between. We hope that it won’t be as hard as it’s already been.

Наконец-то мы можем поделиться с вами новостями! Мы были очень заняты жизненными и игровыми вещами, у нас даже не было времени что-либо опубликовать.

Прежде всего, мы надеемся, что вы отлично проводите время, так как мы умираем от жары. Мы бы хотели, чтобы сейчас была зима, как в превью…

Итак, мы все еще работаем над тем, чтобы сделать Project Genome максимально плавным и ярким. Сейчас наше основное внимание уделяется удобному интерфейсу и плавным 🔞 анимациям. Мы так много работали над другими вещами, что почти забыли об этой вишенке на торте. Из-за сложности нашей интерактивной сцены нам пришлось разработать простой, но полезный инструмент, который позволяет нам создавать ветви выбора, чтобы отслеживать, как эта сцена воспринимается с любой точки ее прохождения и на протяжении всей истории. А также это поможет вам увидеть, что вы делаете для достижения определенного результата.

Значимое взаимодействие с миром и персонажами - вот что сделает Project Genome уникальной игрой. Несмотря на то, что это обновленная сюжетная игра, вы не только будете получать интерактивные события, но и обновляемая выбирать, как продвигаться по сюжету, и видеть все возможные исходы и то, как они влияют на персонажей и сам мир.

Мы все еще оптимизируем и перестраиваем нашу работу, а в промежутках пытаемся внедрить звук и музыку в игру. Мы надеемся, что это будет не так сложно, как раньше.
