Dev Status! Great return! / Статус Разработки! Великое возвращение!

Hi everyone! 

Slowly but surely we return to our working flow. Our programmer was finally able to fix all the problems with their new PC as well as start implementing everything we’ve prepared for them so far.

Right now we’ve been revising our audio mood boards in terms of meeting the requirements for the current setting of the game. Since we still weren’t able to complete the sound design, we need to prepare a thorough plan and check if the game music reflects just the right emotions. 

Moreover, we’ve started drawing knowledge from other games (not only Visual Novels) more often. This year is full of great releases so it’d be great for us to learn how to make our Project Genome even better. For now we’re searching for some suitable gameplay mechanics like mini games and immersing boss battles. We still think these are the things our game lacks variety in.

Привет всем!

Медленно, но верно мы возвращаемся к нормальной работе. Наш программист наконец-то смог устранить все проблемы со своим новым компьютером, а также приступить к реализации всего, что мы для него подготовили.

Прямо сейчас мы пересматриваем наши аудиомудборды, чтобы они соответствовали текущему сеттингу игры. Поскольку мы все еще не смогли завершить работу со звуками, нам нужно подготовить тщательный план и проверить, отражает ли игровая музыка нужные эмоции. 

Более того, мы стали чаще черпать знания из других игр (не только из Визуальных Новелл). Этот год полон отличных релизов, поэтому нам было бы здорово узнать, как сделать наш Project Genome еще лучше. На данный момент мы ищем подходящую игровую механику: мини-игры и захватывающие сражения с боссами. Мы по-прежнему считаем, что именно в этом нашей игре не хватает разнообразия.
